introducing miss Vada!

I've always loved Miss Vada Sultenfuss from the movie My Girl.  So, when I thought of a name for my latest creation- Vada popped up and seemed like the perfect choice!  Now, this Vada  is frilly and fancy, unlike the character, but I think she will be a hit- similar to the character!

SOLD!!

Thanks to all my wonderful Easely Erin customers that have bought up my bags (and pups!) like crazy in the past week!  I'm THRILLED beyond words to have made something that people will enjoy, without having to pay a crazy price!  I'm already thinking about bags for Fall/Spring... thinking solids/canvas?/more industrial and less cutesy!  My gears are turning!  Until then, I'm going to be posting pics on the Facebook page with little projects that I am continuing to try.  Paintings, rompers, little crafty things and of course, more bags eventually!  It's been an inspiring week and I'm so grateful to Etsy users and friends that make it possible for me to be creative while being a stay-at-home mama!  Cheers to something good!

henrietta bag shot

Preparing for next weeks showcase, so of course I needed a beautiful model to display my bag!  Thanks to my friend Elizabeth for letting me borrow her for a photo!  More sewing to do this week and then everything will be up on Etsy for purchase!

My woven labels have ARRIVED!  Much more sewing to do- but I'm SO EXCITED!

fancy hang tags

My woven labels have arrived from Hong Kong, but are somewhere on a mail truck and I will not see them until tomorrow morning.  Until then, I have kept myself busy with more sewing... and a little hang tag project!  If you think the hang tags are cute, then get ready for some cute bags!  I hope to debut the bags next week!
